Download the zip file, and then unzip the file.Visit LG Support Home Page and search for the firmware file for your TV model number.You will need a USB flash drive with at least the size of the firmware update of available storage and a computer with internet access. If your TV is not connected to the internet, you can update the firmware manually by downloading the update file from lg.com and placing it on a USB storage device. The TV will reboot itself as a final step. Remember not to turn off or unplug the TV during the update process. If there is a newer firmware version available, follow the on-screen prompts to download the software, and install it.Click the check for updates button and your TV will let you know if a newer firmware version is available. You will see the current software version of your TV and there is the check for updates button.Click on that and scroll all the way down, and click on “about this TV”. ![]() ![]()
